Kim Swore Honored with Guardian Angel Award

Nancy Wombacher of Iowa City recently honored respiratory therapist Kim Swore with a Guardian Angel Award. Kim cared for Nancy’s late sister, Linda Swift-Wheaton, just before her death.
“Kim is an exceptionally compassionate and competent staff member,” said Nancy. “We are so grateful for her outstanding care during my sister’s final days.”
Linda Swift-Wheaton was a patient at St. Luke’s Continuing Care Hospital (CCH).
Kim Swore is pictured in the center of the photo above with St. Luke’s President & CEO Ted Townsend. CCH Respiratory Coordinator Cindi Kielty is pictured on the left.
The Guardian Angel program gives a patient or family an opportunity to express appreciation for a specific St. Luke’s associate, department or volunteer who made a difference in their health care experience. The gift is then directed to either the associate’s department or to the Guardian Angel Fund.
