Dr. Doug Sedlacek Honored with Guardian Angel Award
Karen Sindlinger of Cedar Rapids raved about the care provided by Anesthesiologist Dr. Doug Sedlacek after a recent stay at St. Luke’s.
"Dr. Sedlacek was so thorough and so nice. He made me feel very comfortable and very confident," said Sindlinger. "I’ve been going to St. Luke’s for 50 years – and care givers like Dr. Sedlacek are the reason why!"
Dr. Sedlacek, who works for Linn County Anesthesiologists, P.C., is pictured on the left with St. Luke’s President & CEO Ted Townsend as he received his Guardian Angel card and pin.
The Guardian Angel program gives a patient or family an opportunity to express appreciation for a specific St. Luke’s associate, department or volunteer who made a difference in their health care experience. The gift is then directed to either the associate’s department or to the Guardian Angel Fund.
