ER Staff Honored with Guardian Angel Award
When Julie Hines of Cedar Rapids visited the St. Luke’s Emergency Room earlier this year, she was impressed.
"All of the employees who helped me were prompt, courteous, helpful and friendly," said Hines. "I was totally happy with the whole experience."
As a result, Hines made a Guardian Angel donation in honor of the entire ER team.

The Guardian Angel program gives a patient or family an opportunity to express appreciation for a specific St. Luke’s associate, department or volunteer who made a difference in their health care experience. The gift is then directed to either the associate’s department or to the Guardian Angel Fund.
