Virginia Dietiker Honored with Guardian Angel Award
Robert and Mary Sue Madrick of Cedar Rapids wanted to do something special for Intensive Care Nurse Virginia Dietiker after Robert’s stay at St. Luke’s last fall.
The Madricks decided to honor Dietiker with a Guardian Angel award. They wrote, “Thank you so much for your wonderful care. You are knowledgeable and very kind!”
Dietiker is pictured in the photo above as she receives her Guardian Angel pin and card from St. Luke’s Executive Vice President & COO John Sheehan.
The Guardian Angel program gives a patient or family an opportunity to express appreciation for a specific St. Luke’s associate, department or volunteer who made a difference in their health care experience. The gift is then directed to either the associate’s department or to the Guardian Angel Fund.
